As a lifetime redhead (born and raised), I literally see the world in technicolor. Let's just consider, for a moment, that I begin each day with a dopamine rush of red (hair) and orange (freckles) -- two colors that wildly dictate my makeup palette and what I'm going to wear. So it's no surprise to learn that as far as I'm concerned, red is a neutral. Even when life feels like several shades of grey, just add some red lipstick or a pair of leopard print shoes for an instant mood-lift. I also find that poring over a stack of fashion magazines and tearing out images that make my eyeballs sing is a great mood booster.
